Is it possible to reinforce the bones in your face and head with metal?

For example can you cover vulnerable parts of your head like the nose, the temples, and teeth if you wanted to for some reason? BTW I don't mean wear a helmet I mean under the skin over the bone or even attached to the bone. I'm thinking a use for this would be is your where in a cover ops mission of something you can wear your body armer but look like your not.
