I think i stained my uggs?

I think i stained my uggs using the ugg australia sheepskin water and stain repellent. It was my first time spraying so i didn't do such a good job on spraying it evenly. I have to wait 24 hrs until it dries, but its only been like 10 minutes and its pretty dry but splotches are forming on the boot. So it is permanently stained or will it dry up in 24 hrs?? And if it wont dry up, then how can i take off the stains? Will spraying it over again work or do i have to wash and clean it??
